Jontro Soinik 1.0 handed over to the Peruvian Armed Forces

On 05 May 2024, a Jontro Soinik 1.0 EOD robot built by Cybernetics was handed over to the Peruvian Armed Forces as a gift from the Bangladesh Army.

The ceremony was witnessed by Bangladesh Army leadership (Gen. S. M. Shafiuddin Ahmed; Gen. Waker-Uz-Zaman) and the UN Regional Coordinator in Dhaka. The robot was received by Lt Gen. Carlos Alberto Rabanal Calderón, Inspector General, Peruvian Armed Forces.

Jontro Soinik 1.0 is Bangladesh's third generation and most advanced indigenously developed Explosive Ordnance Disposal Remotely Operated Vehicle.
